A five member Board of Commissioners govern the Fall City Metropolitan Park District and are the legislative body responsible for adopting the District budget and developing goals, policies, and regulations which will guide the District's future.
Immediately following the February 3, 2009 election which formed the new Park District, each of the commissioners began serving one of the staggered interim terms (two 6-year terms, two 4-year terms, and one 2-year term) based upon the number of votes received during that election. After the initial election, each commissioner position will serve a 6-year term.
